On my trip to Bali, Indonesia, I ventured to the legendary Luwak Coffee Plantation. Here I participated in a step-by-step tour of how this specialty coffee is produced and then enjoyed a coffee tasting overlooking lush jungle terrain. A bit skeptical at first, I was blown away by learning about the intense craft and precise art of poop that is required in the curation of the world’s must delicious coffee.

Tirta Empul

Tirta Empul is one of the popular tourist attractions in Bali for its calming natural beauty and strong spirituality. The complex is also one of Indonesia’s cultural heritages that should be preserved and kept authentic for future generations. The sacred pool at Tirta Empul consists of a number of natural springs that originate from the mountains around the Gianyar region. These springs then flow into the pool which was built in the 10th century by King Sri Candra Brawijaya.

Ubud Market

Ubud Traditional Art Market where the existence is not far different from other markets available in the tourism area. This market is a social economics center of Ubud and it is apposite to the existence of the Ubud Empire that is called Puri Saren. The market is unfolding from west to easterly divided become two groups with different purposes. There are two markets available in the same area those are one block on the Westside is for a traditional artistic market and another block located in the east is an everyday traditional fundamental market requirement. This market is open every day from 08:00 until 18:00, even some from them still open until nighttime. While the traditional market for the fundamental requirement is opened every day at 06:00 – even before that there is a morning market that starts at 04:00 morning.
