Goa giri putri cave temple

The temple of Goa Giri Putri is located inside an impressive cave. It is indeed the biggest cave of Nusa Penida island. Many Balinese make the trip from Bali to Nusa Penida specifically to follow the complete course of purification which includes five stations inside the cave, in addition to the initial ceremony before entering the cave. Balinese also come because the water flowing from the spring in Goa Giri Putri Temple is holy water. It contains natural strength that can cure the disease. You will spot people coming for the ceremony easily on the speed boat, dressed in white and bearing their offerings. But most of them will come back on the same day to Bali because they are scared by the reputation of the island.

Atuh beach

Atuh Beach is our next stop on the secluded east coast. The white sand is guarded by towering limestone cliffs. In the shallows, the waters are calm but just a few meters further in at high tide, and the waves rush into the bay with tangible force. At low tide the ocean pulls back, revealing little rock pools, each a tiny world containing crabs and intriguing mini creatures. This is an idyllic spot to absorb the fresh ocean air.

Diamond beach

Diamond Beach is the dreamiest, unbelievably beautiful, paradise beach. This hidden gem has only just recently been made accessible by steps from the clifftop, all the way down to the pristine, sandy shore. The beach has glistening white sand, coconut palm trees, small caves, and a suitable spot for swimming in the shallows.

Tree house

Nusa Penida Island is not all about beaches and temples. It is because tourists can visit highlands and find some good spots for relaxation or sightseeing. As for the reference, there is Teletubbies Hill! The location is in Tanglad Village and it has become a good alternative to enjoy a family recreation and relaxation.
